Private Pilot License (PPL)

Meet Zack

Hi, I'm Zack Baz — a certified flight instructor (CFI/CFII) based in beautiful San Diego. Flight instructing is more than just a job for me — it's my passion. I love helping people chase their dreams in aviation and take real pride in building confident, capable pilots.

When I’m not flying, you’ll find me surfing, skiing, or enjoying time outside. I believe flying should be as fun as it is challenging, and I bring that mindset into every lesson. I’ve flown tailwheel aircraft, have experience with backcountry strips, and enjoy exploring the adventurous side of aviation as much as I enjoy helping students master the fundamentals.
